A big stage, bright lights and everything on the line for an eager child to win four hours of studio time to record his/her own music. That is what is up for grab’s on May 31 when students from Bach to Rock, America’s Music School for students of all ages, Mamaroneck and Port Washington locations hit the stage with their band members. Bach to Rock recently hit national news last year when Wayne, Pa. music teacher Matt McAndrew came in second place on NBC’s The Voice.
Family, friends and local New Yorkers will have the chance to catch the showdown in action from 11am - 4pm at the Red Lion Club. The highly anticipated student event will feature 14 bands from elementary, middle and high school divisions competing for the chance to win professional recording studio time with an audio engineer to record their own album.
